The Carranza Family Session

Hey there Hey,

Hope everyone is doing spiffy on this lovely Tuesday. The weather is still a bit gloomy on my side of the Empire. Won't let it damper on this parade! LOL Today I will be sharing a family session I did for the Carranza's. It was such a great idea being that there was 2 birthday celebrations and a recent engagement! This meant much to celebrate and much to look forward too. This session was taken at Mid Town, in Downtown District, Miami. That place amazes me with all its artistic diversity and unique backgrounds of  creative fancy and graffiti art shared in one place. We decided to stroll around the shops as we passed the lovely Brito art pieces that surrounded the signature water fountain and pretty green scenery.

Thaline Roque's Quinces Session

Hey there Hey,

It's gloomy alright, but I love this weather! Still feeling chipper on my side of the Empire. It's been quite some time since my last post on Labor Day. I have to commit to at least one post a day. Today I would like to share a Quinceñera session I did for a lovely, lovely young lady by the name of Thaline Roque. Very soft spoken and sweet young lady. Well, we all know that nothing makes me more excited when a client calls to set up a session and much more one that includes hair, make-up, shoes and a dress!!! Yeah! They had me at session. LOL This family lives in North Carolina and took a flight down to the Sunny State of Florida, for a Quinceñera shoot with ME! Mrs. SeLaRom! So I am very honored to share these photos which were taken in the beautiful gardens of Vizcaya. The hair and the make-up were done by me and touched up at the site by my lovely assistant Vanessa Marie. We had lots of fun and enjoyed very much being a part of what was one of the most emotional and proudest days to both Mom and Abuela, that accompanied us to the shoot. Having 2 girls of my own it hits close to home each time I photograph these young ladies blossoming into women and slowly facing the world on their own... OK OK let me stop as I am getting all choked up thinking that my eldest very soon will be having her Quinceñera session and right after my second eldest. (sniff, sniff..sigh) They do grow up so fast. Thank God for cameras!
